The final of the Warragul Bowling Club men’s pairs championship was played between Graeme Davis (skip) and Peter Gallasch versus Clive Padgham (skip) and Ron Collins.

Clive and Ron got off to a flyer, winning the first four ends for a 7/0 lead. Graeme and Peter then grabbed six shots to almost square the ledger.

The next four ends were even to see Clive and Ron lead by three shots. This is where the game turned, with Clive and Ron getting 10 shots on the next three ends to take a commanding 21/8 lead.

Graeme and Peter won the next three ends, but couldn’t get the numbers they needed. The game was over without the last two ends being played, Clive and Ron running out very comfortable winners.
