Two local young athletes have taken their talents nationally with standout performances for Victoria at the Australian All Schools Track and Field Championships in Brisbane over the weekend.
Warragul's Zaria Dalton and Annabella Denton both had the chance to take on the best Australia has to offer at the championships following strong results at the Victorian All Schools Track and Field Championships.
Zaria was able to come home a national champion in one of her events, bringing home the gold in the under 16 4x100m as the runner in the first leg of the race.
She also finished 10th in the women's under 15 200m (26.37 seconds) and ninth in the women's under 15 100m (12.62 seconds PB).
Annabella finished a silver medalist in the women's under 15 400m, running an incredible personal best of 57.41.
