Warragul to host Gippsland Stars
1 min read

Warragul is set to host a Victorian Netball League match for the first time next year.
The Gippsland Stars' round five match against Peninsula Waves on Wednesday, April 9 will take place at the Warragul Leisure Centre, according to the recently released VNL fixture.

It's not the first time Baw Baw has been scheduled to host a Stars game - although hopes are high it will turn out better than last time.
Drouin's Bellbird Park was due to host a match earlier this year before it was moved because of concerns regarding the court run off section.
Next year will mark the Stars' first year with a fully fledged championship team as well as a new 17 and under team. These teams are in addition to existing 23 and under and 19 and under sides.
It will be the Gippsland Stars' second year in the VNL, with a high number of local players set to feature across the four squads.
