TAFE students excel

A strong contingent of TAFE Gippsland students have been named in a Victorian team for next year's WorldSkills Australia competition.
Sixteen have been selected from Gippsland including Matthew Foster who is employed by Charrouf Painting Services from Drouin.
Head of emerging industries and trades at TAFE Gippsland Alex Terranova said after regional competitions he expected nine Gippsland students would get invitations for the national event to be held in Brisbane next June.
He said he couldn't be prouder, it's a tremendous achievement for TAFE Gippsland.
The support and guidance of staff has been instrumental in getting the students to this point, Mr Terranova said.
