A female driver was left terrified after an attempted carjacking in a Warragul carpark on Sunday.
Police allege the incident occurred at 6pm in the Umart store carpark off Mason St.
The woman reported she had just returned to her black Holden Captiva and was talking on her phone whilst seated in the driver's seat.
Approached by three male youths, she said one pulled open the driver's door with force and demanded she got out. Refusing, the woman said she managed to close and lock the door before calling 000.
Police said the woman was not injured but left terrified by the incident.
The youths were described as about 16-years-old. Two were wearing white hoodies and the third, who allegedly opened the door, was wearing a black hoodie.
