How often do shopping precinct footpaths in Baw Baw Shire get washed?
Answering this question recently posed to council by resident Carolyn Gorman, chief executive officer Mark Dupe confirmed annual footpath pressure washing cleans are conducted periodically between September to December.
Taking place in the early morning to ensure safety and reduce impacts to traders, Mr Dupe said priority was given to footpaths in proximity to food and entertainment premises in major shopping precincts.
Mr Dupe also told Ms Gorman "there is currently no charge for use of the Drouin Senior Citizens Centre".
Responding to her question asking if senior citizens would be charged to use their upgraded facility, Mr Dupe said a pricing policy review for all council facilities was currently being undertaken.
Any change would be subject to community consultation, he added.
