More than 140 junior basketball teams from across the state converged on West Gippsland for the annual Warragul Tournament over the weekend.
Hosted by the Warragul District Amateur Basketball Association, a vast majority were Gippsland teams. However, basketballers also attended from Geelong and the outer suburbs.
Travelling from as far as Phillip Island to Orbost, under 10 to under 19 basketballers competed at courts in Warragul, Drouin, Neerim South, Bunyip and Newborough.
Warragul Warriors were well represented across the divisions at its home event, winning the under 14A boys division.
The Warriors were also runners-up in the under 12A girls, under 12A boys, under 16A boys and under 19A boys divisions.
