Trafalgar defeat Drouin in top bowls division

There was only one win from Drouin's four teams in round five pennant bowls on Saturday.
Two games were decided by two to four shots.
Division one: Drouin lost to Trafalgar 76/85
Les Firth's team of Col Jeffrey, Mary Firth and John Bikerdike won 20/17. Dennis Throup's team of David McIlfatrick, Elaine Thorpe and Denise Hamilton lost 6/32. Steve Barr's team of Peter Wallace, Vince Mancarella and Bruce Andrews won 23/18. Graeme Aubrey's team of Jan Aubrey, Alex Miller and Don Mowat won 27/18.
Division three: Drouin (2) lost to Trafalgar (2) 71/75
Brian Thorpe's team of Phil Jarred, Wayne Walsh and Maria Wans won 21/13. Andy Kidd's team of Lyn Jeffrey, David Wall and Glenda Jarred won 22/17. Wayne Hawken's team of John Bignold, Mary Andrews and Neil Radford lost 14/25. Terry McFadzean's team of Andre De Waele, Dini Hone and Helen Kerkvliet lost 14/20.
Division five: Drouin (3) lost to Garfield (2) 57/65
Lloyd Smith's team of Neil Bullen, Richard Joyner and Paul Delaney lost 16/21. Ian Haughton's team of Irene Dawson, Margie Rhodes and Maureen McMillan won 23/18. Rudy Kerkvliet's team of Andrew Blaby, Barrie Price and Bev Walsh lost 18/26.
Division six: Drouin (4) defeated Newborough (4) 35/33
