The Trafalgar Golf Club is hosting a Pro Am on Wednesday, November 6.
This follows on from the highly successful event held in January 2023 with was won by Chris Wood with a score of 65 (-5).
Professionals and amateurs will come together to play on one of Gippsland's great courses in both morning afternoon and sessions. Amateur prizes will be offered for both sessions, with the professionals competing for the overall prize money on offer.
Club staff and members have been working hard too have the course in great condition, especially following the recent storms.
The Trafalgar Golf Club acknowledges the support of Community Bank Trafalgar and District for the Pro Am, but these event cannot be held without the great support of other sponsors and the community as a whole. A full list of sponsors can be found on the Trafalgar Golf Club website.
Spectators are very welcome to attend and to enjoy the catering on offer on the day, and watching the top class golfing action. The pro am is a great opportunity for the club to promote the impressive course and it is hoped the event will become a regular event on the golfing calendar.
There are still amateur places available for the event at a cost of $50 which includes a two course meal. Anyone interested in playing should go to the Trafalgar Golf Club website (trafalgargolf.com.au/pro-am) to obtain an entry form.
