Detectives are seeking community assistance in the investigation of a robbery at a Warragul sports store on Wednesday in which four masked men allegedly stormed into the store and began grabbing sports clothing.
The robbery occurred just before 11am.
Detectives said four men of African appearance entered Intersport in Burke St, wearing hooded jackets and disposable Covid style face coverings.
It is alleged the men walked directly to the back of the store and began grabbing men's jackets and sports pants.
Detectives said staff tried to apprehend the men.
The men were seen getting into a black Subaru Liberty sedan parked in the skate park car park. Detectives said the vehicle was seen driving east on Burke St before heading north to main roundabout at Landsborough Rd.
There were no injuries to staff.
