Motorbike stolen in business burglary

Stolen motorbikes have been located after being hidden alongside the Princes Hwy in Darnum.
Police said two motorbikes, an ATV, tools and motorbike equipment were reported stolen from Warragul Powersports on Sunday, February 16.
It is the third burglary or break-in at the Peace Ave business in recent months.
Police were alerted to the burglary at 7.30am when a community member attended Warragul Police Station to hand in a brand new motorbike helmet with tags.
Police officers attended the business and discovered the back gate and main gate open.
They believe the burglary occurred at about 3.20am, with entry gained after forcing open a sliding window.
A trailer was allegedly used to load two motorbikes, one of which was discovered about 150m away in Normanby St. It appears to have fallen off.
Police said a community member called triple zero at 7.45am to report an ATV with a trailer travelling down Alfred St.
At 12.20pm, a trailer and motorbike were located down an embankment next to the highway at Darnum. An ATV was located nearby under the Little Moe River Bridge. Power tools, hand tools and a laptop were found near the railway line.
Police are seeking a man described as wearing a light coloured jacket, dark pants, light coloured work boots, peaked cap and carrying a backpack.
Anyone with information which may assist police enquiries is urged to contact Warragul police on 5622 7111.
