A hammer thrown through the window of a Warragul house struck a woman and narrowly missed a sleeping child.
Police are seeking three people after the incident in Asha Court last Tuesday at 12.15am.
They said three hammers were thrown at the house, with one going through a bedroom window.
A woman sleeping in the room was struck in the chest and had superficial glass cuts, police reported.
A three-year-old child, sleeping in a bed directly under the window, was not injured.
Two other people also were inside the house at the time.
Police said CCTV captured three people arrive at the house in a black vehicle, possible a Holden Captiva, and each throwing a hammer.
