Power tools appear to be the target of several recent house burglaries and thefts from cars.
Police reported Stihl-branded tools including a chainsaw, backpack blower and multi-tool with hedging and whipper snipper attachments were stolen from a small shed in Warragul.
They believe entry to the Bowen St shed was forced overnight on Wednesday, November 20.
A security camera screen and modem were reported stolen from a house under construction in Warragul overnight on Tuesday, November 19.
Police believe an unlocked window was the entry point to the Scenic Drv premises, with wires also cut to the CCTV system.
A Milwaukee-branded battery kit was stolen from a locked tool box in Drouin while a Mazda ute was parked in Princes Way on Friday, November 22.
Police reported a locked tool box on the tray of the ute was forced open between 5.15pm and 6.15pm.
Two chainsaws were stolen from a truck parked in Affleck St, Warragul on Saturday, November 23.
Police said the theft occurred between 2am and 6.45am.
They said a side window of the Mitsubishi Canter truck was smashed with a hammer, which was left behind. The two Husqvana-branded chainsaws were stolen from the footwell.
