Arrest for alcohol theft

A 15-year-old girl was arrested for theft of alcohol theft in Warragul.

Police said three girls attended the Commercial Hotel's drive-thru bottle shop in Queen St at 8.30pm on Friday.
It is alleged they grabbed $250 worth of alcohol before running away.
Police said staff confronted the group after giving chase. However, the girls dropped and smashed the alcohol.
Returning a short time later to find her dropped phone, a 15-year-old from Traralgon was arrested.
Police allege she kicked and spat at officers as well as using abusive and violent language.
Police also identified a 13-year-old girl from Traralgon and 14-year-old girl from Warragul in relation to the incident.
Bike and
scooter stolen
A bike and electric scooter were reported stolen in separate Warragul burglaries on Saturday night.
Police said a customer's Scott Genius-branded yellow and orange bike was reported stolen overnight from Baw Baw Cycles in North Rd.
A back roller door appeared to be forced open, causing damage.
A black F2 Pro Segway-Ninebot electric scooter was reported stolen during an aggravated burglary at a Sutton St residence.
Police believe access to the property was via a garage door left slightly ajar.
Data from the electric scooter, valued at $1000, showed it was started at 4.11am.
