Relive the 90s with St Paul's Anglican Grammar School as they journey through the decade in their production of "POPSTARS! The 90's Musical" from September 5 to 7.
Directed by drama teacher Kylie Sinclair, with the support of the year 11 theatre studies class, students across the Warragul secondary school have been deep in rehearsal since March. Written by Nicholas Christo and Neil Gooding, "POPSTARS!" follows the story of "Queen-Bee" Shannon, and her former head-over-heels boyfriend Mark, as they battle it out to win the State Talent Show.
To get back at Shannon for dumping him, Mark enlists the help of the new girl at school, Ella, an incredibly talented performer to help his band improve on their boy-band dance moves.
As the countdown to the grand finale begins, find out if Mark can manage to walk away with the girl, and the win.
This high-energy, nostalgic story of hard-work, determination and friendship will resonate with audience members of all ages.
"POPSTARS!" will perform at the West Gippsland from September 5 to 7.
