Winds up to 124km/h recorded at Warragul

Wild and dangerous weather wreaked havoc across West Gippsland in the early hours of yesterday morning leaving a trail of fallen trees, downed powerlines and damaged buildings in its wake.
The Nilma North Bureau of Meteorology station recorded winds of 124km/h yesterday morning at 3:16am.
Trees were uprooted across rural and residential areas, and in parks across the shire, roads were closed and central business districts were left looking like ghost towns as business closed their doors for the day because of no power.
