Plea to save school's chaplaincy program

Local school chaplain Oscar Correa knows where he is needed most to make a difference.
After working in prisons for more than a decade, Oscar believes health and social connection in secondary school can change the trajectory of a young person's life.
He said this made his role as Warragul Regional College chaplain "tremendously important."
However, about $20,000 in government funding allocated to the college each year for a chaplain has been cut, with little chance for reinstatement until 2028.
