Two vote against budget

In an unprecedented move, two councillors voted against Baw Baw Shire's budget when it was presented for adoption last week.
One labelled councillors and the budget "out of touch" whilst another strongly opposed East Ward's "raw deal."
However, the budget raising almost $63 million from rates and investing $41 million into community infrastructure, was adopted after a six-two vote.
