Jervis House takes honours

Jervis house won the Trafalgar High School sports carnival with 999 points followed by Hawke on 801, Drake with 787 and Nelson with 708 points.

House champion and individual champions were announced during a whole school assembly on Wednesday, May 6.

At the sports assembly, the school also recognised various sporting achievements of its students.

Sadira Snell won two silver medals at the state swimming championships at Melbourne Swimming and Aquatic Centre, swimming in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly.

Nicole Faltum was part of the under 15 Victorian cricket team to finish runner-up to New South Wales at the National championships.

Nicole also took part in tryouts for the under 19 soccer sport Victorian team.

Blake Radford and Skye Templeton played polocrosse for Victoria, with Blake selected in the National team.

Tom Green was ranked sixth in his age group in a scooter competition, and will now fly to Sydney to compete.

Patrick Ceh competed in a motocross competition in Perth.

Brooke Wheeler competed at the equestrian National championships in Sydney, ranking in the top 10.

Liam Collier competed in the Baw Baw endurance mountain bike race and came first in his age group.

Ciaran Palmer plays in both under 15 and under 16 state baseball teams.

Ally Brand will perform her VCE dance ensemble at the top arts event.

Lauren Akers, Riley Akers and James Gallagher competed in the National swimming titles in Sydney.
