Study shows demand for electricians

The demand for tradespeople in Warragul is high, according to a BizCover study revealing electricians are the most sought after search occupation.
The study analysed 165 trades and identified Warragul's most sought after trade searches based on Google search data and calculated per capita search volume.
The study also indicated the highest hourly wage paid for trade's occupations in Warragul with tilers and plasterers scooping the major honours.
A plasterer is paid $51.28 per hour while a tiler is paid at $50.35 per hour, according to the report
BizCover is an online business insurance company in Australia.
The residents of Warragul searched on Google for an electrician 1785 annual searches per 100,000 people.
The roofer trade finished as runners-up with a search of 1288 for the same period while the least searched was for a tiler at 271 searches.
Residents of Warragul searched for carpenters nearby 1152 times while the others followed: landscaper- 904, concreter-813, painter-746, plasterer- 587, builder- 497 and surveyor- 474.
Head of Marketing at BizCover, Sharon Kenny, acknowledged the immense value for tradesperson in Australian communities.
"Tradespeople are incredibly valued members of communities across Australia, and it's interesting to pinpoint where their skills are currently most in demand," she reiterated.
"Interestingly, it's regional towns, not big cities that show the highest demand per capita for tradies".
Ms Kenny said the contributor to this high demand for specific trades was the aging infrastructure and the challenge of dispersed populations.

"Electricians are particularly sought after, driven by infrastructure projects and the shift towards energy efficiency and renewable solutions," Ms Kenny highlighted.
