St Paul's production of "POPSTARS!" was a fantastic tribute to the 90s, packed full of classic hit songs and iconic choreography. A musical ode to the era, the show was complimented by humorous performances from the talented cast.
Exploring themes of teenage love and betrayal and the power of music, "POPSTARS!" follows the story of "Queen-Bee" Shannon (Bridget Davies), and her former head-over-heels boyfriend Mark (Kaelan Lowe), as they battle it out to win the State Talent Show.
More than just a certificate, winning the talent show holds the prize of a record deal with pop-band impresario Simon Austin (AJ Glaister).
To get back at Shannon for dumping him, Mark enlists the help of the new girl at school, Ella (Chloe Sutton), an incredibly talented performer to help his band improve on their boy-band dance moves.
