St Ita’s Catholic Primary School students excitedly presented annual concert “A Night at the Oscars”.

The students from grade prep to six performed two concerts recently at the West Gippsland Arts Centre following a month of rehearsals. The second show was a sell-out.

Grade six students played the lead characters, transporting the audience back in time via a magic mirror to explore famous music from Oscar movies.

Students from the remaining grades each showcased songs from a variety of movies including The Wizard of Oz, Frozen, Grease and Singin’ in the Rain.
