Warragul's Xanthe Dalton has enjoyed a very successful week on the football field, taking home the gold medal for Victoria in the School Sport Australia 12 and under girls football championship.
Xanthe is the first local to have been named in the team, and despite being a bottom aged player at just 10 years old, became a vital part of the winning team.
Playing as a small forward, she kept up her tackling pressure throughout the tournament, and even kicked a brilliant goal during Victoria's game against Queensland.
