Bowlers will travel from across Victoria as well as interstate and overseas to compete on local bowling greens from Friday.
The Victorian Open will offer locals the chance to watch some top quality bowls action, with Longwarry, Warragul, Yarragon and Trafalgar bowling clubs all hosting games across the 10-day event.
There will also be many locals taking part across Gippsland venues.
Starting on Friday and running through to Sunday, March 30, the Victorian Open brings together thousands of bowlers of all abilities. It is widely recognised as the largest bowls event in Victoria and second nationally to the Australian Open.
Warragul is scheduled to host various competitons, including mixed pairs on Friday and women's triples next Tuesday.
All four local venues will host men's pairs on Sunday, with rounds kicking off at 9am, 11.30am and 2.15pm.
Men's and women's singles will start on Thursday, March 27, with Longwarry, Warragul and Trafalgar hosting men's games and women playing at a variety of venues including Yarragon.
