Three local runners have made a splash internationally recently, taking home gold medals at the North Island Colgate Games in New Zealand last week.
Warragul residents Annabella and James Denton and Zaria Dalton earned the opportunity to travel across the Tasman and represent Victoria thanks to their strong results in prior competitions, with all three enjoying outstanding .
Both Annabella and Zaria were a part of the victorious under 14 girls 4x100m relay team, as James comfortably won the under 15 boys 400m as well as being part of the gold medal 4x100m relay team.
In other events, Zaria and Annabella finished fourth and fifth respectively in the under 14 girls individual 200m, with just 0.01 seconds separating them.
Annabella also finished fifth in the final of the under 14 girls 400m event.
