It was a week to forget for Thorpdale with both teams heading away and coming home empty handed.
Division two: Thorpdale lost to Garfield 68/82
Thorpdale travelled to Garfield where skip Ben Powell's team had a fantastic win of 28/12.
However this didn't help the final score with the other teams going down to the superior Garfield sides.
Skip David Ferguson's team went down 11/32; skip Grady Edwards' band of stalwarts had an eight-point loss with their final score being 11/19 and skip Ron (Bonnie) Mackie's team were just pipped at the post with a loss of one point 18/19.
Division seven: Thorpdale (2) lost to Churchill (2) 22/40
Thorpdale headed to windy Churchill and had their ups and downs.
Skip David Van Heurck's team had a good lead but the opposition chipped that away to win the match with a three point win 13/16.
Skip David Eves couldn't quite control his harem team and they went down 9/24, giving Churchill the match by an 18-shot margin.
