AN influx of returning players, led by Taylor Rainey, helped Yarragon rediscover its form to account for Longwarry and remain in the finals hunt.
The Panthers were able to work themselves into the contest after a slow start, on the way to winning 9-17 (71) to 5-8 (38).
Longwarry's scoring woes continued, as the Panthers finished the round sixth on the ladder, six points and slight percentage outside the top five.
