Notman is rising star for Gulls
1 min read

Warragul footballer Brayden Notman has been awarded the "Brendan Noy Rising Star Award" to assist his transition from junior to senior football.

Brayden, a committed and skilled footballer, was presented the annual award in honour of former Gulls player Brendan Noy.
The $500 award is given to a deserving player selected by the Warragul Football Netball Club committee who is transitioning from junior to senior football. Sponsored by Brendan's family, it helps the rising star pay for football expenses such as fees, travel and equipment.
One of the main criteria is displaying commitment to the club during their time in junior football.
Brendan Noy's family presented the award to Brayden and hope the money will enable him to focus on his football and make the transition easier.
Brendan Noy was just 32-years old when he was tragically killed in a car crash in 2018. He played football from the age of 10 with the Warragul Blues Junior Football Club and then Warragul Football Club until 2004. At the age of 19, he left Warragul to pursue his career.
