Close to 100 members and spectators attended Warragul Country Club last Wednesday to celebrate the opening of a new practice facility which will also serve as a spare hole for the course.
Life members Helen Amott and Tony Kelly struck the ceremonial first tee shots on the new par three hole which doubles as a premier short game practice facility designed to help members and students of the game improve their pitching, chipping and bunker play.
Chairperson Kaye Rollinson said the new facility was five years in the making as part of the club's capital plan.
