Massive margins in senior footy

Ellinbank, Trafalgar and Longwarry each flexed their early credentials with big wins in round two of Ellinbank District football to remain undefeated.
The going didn't get any easier for newcomers Bunyip, who struggled to go with Ellinbank after quarter time to ultimately go down 23-17 (155) to 9-8 (62).
Zach Gallahar booted an early goal to keep in touch despite three first quarter goals to Lachlan Pratt, only for Ellinbank to go on a second quarter charge.
Six goals to one, including three majors from Anthony Battista, helped open a handy 52-point buffer at the long break.
Bunyip put in a competitive third term, matching Ellinbank's output of three goals.
The final quarter lasted more than 36 minutes as the Eagles piled on 11 goals to four.
Lachlan Pratt finished with six goals with Logan Joyce, Alex Olsen, Battista, Sam Pratt, Joel Armstrong and Ryan Atherton also prominent.
The Bulldogs were best served by Jackson Smith, Mitchell Sproles, Zach Gallahar, William Grummisch, Ned Ashton and Logan Hillman.
TRAFALGAR enter the Easter bye on top of the ladder on the back of a big win over Nilma-Darnum, 23-12 (150) to 0-5 (5).
After an opening term that realised four goals, the Bloods increased their output on the way to a big win.
Seven goals in the second term built the buffer and they carried that momentum, adding five goals in the third term and seven majors in the final quarter.
Isaac Caroleo and Danny Brewster each booted seven goals with Jace Butler, Hardy Kenny, Mathew Devon and Brad Hoffmann also prominent.
The Bombers were best served by Sage Tapner, Thomas Young, Ben Campbell, Oxley Huson, Kade Rossborough and Nathan Campbell.
TEN goals from Braydon McHugh and seven majors from Jason Wells helped Longwarry thump Nyora, 26-13 (169) to 4-3 (27).
The Saints kept in touch early, trailing by 20-points at the first change, but struggled to contain the small forwards as the Crows kicked away.
Dylan Holland, Brayden Chandler, Riley Rundell and Jedd Serong were also prominent for the home side.
The better players for the Saints were Jordan Anderson, Tyler Hotchkin, Callum Mcniff, Aaron Coggins, Paul Delaroche and Tyler Kirkbride.
CATANI remain the outlier in the top five, again getting the job done against a lower ranked team with a big win over Poowong, 23-8 (146) to 2-8 (20).
After entering the first change with a return of 3-5 and 16-point lead, greater accuracy helped the Blues pile on 20 goals across the reminder of the contest.
James Williams, Liam Hetherington, Thomas Keily, Tyler Fowkes, Julian Suarez (five goals) and Joshua Stewart led the way for the Blues.
Poowong's best were Mitch Molloy, Connor Ives, Mitchell van't Hof, Joel Norton, David Miller and Zac Gray.
