Round 14 of the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition sees four members of the top six face off with one another.
Meanwhile, a local rivalry will add another chapter as both teams search for a much-needed win.
Bunyip vs Garfield
Two local rivals do battle once more when Bunyip and Garfield play off for the Tom Cleary Perpetual Cup.
The Stars reclaimed the cup earlier this season when they handed the Bulldogs a 50-point thumping in what was an early indication that this season was going to be a rough one for Bunyip.
The Bulldogs have had to turn to rejuvenating their list, and with so many new players being exposed to senior football the growing pains have been clear.
A chance to finally break through last week went begging as they were easily dispatched of by the 11th-placed Korumburra Bena.
Opportunities to win are becoming few and far between.
For the Stars a response is needed after failing to kick a goal against Inverloch-Kongwak last week.
Garfield has generally become a better team compared to last year's model and these are the kind of games they'll see as non-negotiables.
With both teams desperate for some joy, it's going to be a heated contest.
Bunyip will also be paying tribute to Australia's rich indigenous history with a specially designed guernsey as well as a pre-game welcome to country and smoking ceremony hosted by Kurnai elder Aunty Cheryl Drayton.
Koo wee rup vs Warragul Industrials
Having just fallen short of an upset win last week, Warragul Industrials will look to rebound as they travel to Koo wee rup.
The loss has seen the Dusties remain in the top six by percentage only, meaning they need to keep ticking off winnable games to maintain their buffer.
And a winnable game is exactly what's on offer here as they face off with the Demons.
It's been an indifferent year for Koo wee rup, including a seven-game losing streak that saw them written off from finals contention early on.
They were brave but ultimately not quite good enough last week against Dalyston, and will need that effort if they are to stand a chance here.
The Dusties have been competitive against the best without success, while the Demons have been nowhere near the upper echelon.
In short, Warragul Industrials should get the job done.
Other games
Cora Lynn meets the reigning premiers when Tooradin-Dalmore comes to town.
The Cobras are full of confidence having just knocked off Nar Nar Goon, and will be keen on pulling level with their opponents on the ladder should they manage to beat them here.
It's been a more challenging year for the Seagulls, but they remain one of the best around, so expect an interesting contest.
It's another top six battle when Nar Nar Goon hosts Inverloch-Kongwak.
The Goon's six-game winning streak came to an end last week, while the Sea Eagles are on a streak of their own - 13 straight wins.
It's tough to see just who will knock them off - can it be Nar Nar Goon?
Phillip Island will look to continue their terrifying form as they come up against Dalyston.
The Bulldogs have played some of their best footy in recent times and are on a monstrous nine-game streak that includes a win over the reigning premiers.
Dalyston still have hopes of finals, but will need to take some scalps if they are to make it.
Odds are this might be too big of a scalp for anyone.
Finally, Korumburra Bena will look at a rare chance for two straight wins when they play Kilcunda Bass.
The Giants finally found some success last week with a strong win over Bunyip, while the Panthers need to respond following a dismal defeat to Phillip Island.
Kilcunda Bass should win here on paper, but confidence can do a lot for a struggling side.
