Local heroes can come in all forms - just ask Liz Walsh.
Liz was recently recognised as a 'Local Hero' by Melbourne United Basketball Club for her volunteer efforts at Gladiators Basketball Club in the Warragul District Amateur Basketball Association.
She's taken on just about every role the club has to offer over the past couple of years, all of them fuelled by her desire to see kids keeping active and happy.
"I was nominated by someone else at the club, but to be honest I didn't think I did too much," she said.
