From Gull to Bulldog, Warragul's Lachlan Smith is now officially an AFL player after being selected by the Western Bulldogs in last week's AFL draft.
Standing at a gargantuan 202cm, the Warragul Football Club under 18s premiership ruck will now be taking his talents to Whitten Oval to study under All-Australian ruck Tim English.
Considered a draft smoky by many, he was snapped up by the Bulldogs at pick 47 and had his first chance to visit the club on Thursday just two days after his selection.
