ELLINBANK held a slight edge over Longwarry to close out an eight-point win and earn a shot at the undefeated Buln Buln in Saturday's Ellinbank District decider at Yarragon.
Despite some challenges from the Crows, the Eagles held a slight lead for most of the contest on the way to winning 9-8 (62) to 8-6 (54).
The Eagles stole possession to run into the open goal but Longwarry soon hit the front with consecutive goals, Cooper Brown scoring from the goal square.
Anthony Battista began his good match with a checkside from the pocket, the first of three goals for the afternoon.
