The Hallora Cricket Club will host their own Pink Stumps Ladies Day event this Saturday to raise money for the McGrath Foundation.
It is the second time the club have put on the day following a successful first run in 2022 that raised more than $6,000.
The day will feature a high tea for the women at the club that involves guest speakers as well as a silent auction featuring prizes donated by both members of the community and businesses.
The McGrath Foundation is a breast cancer support charity which aims to raise money for breast care nurses across Australia.
It was founded by former Australian cricket player Glenn McGrath and his then-wife Jane McGrath in 2005 following Jane's diagnosis with breast cancer. She passed away in 2008.
The idea of a pink stumps day allows local clubs to get behind the cause in their own ways as they fundraise for the foundation.
