Locals represent at annual VLine Cup

Some of Gippsland footy's brightest young guns made their way to Ballarat last week for this year's edition of the annual VLine Cup.

The tournament is an annual gathering of under 15 country footballers to show their stuff, playing against one another in a carnival format.
Local clubs were well represented across the tournament's two boys teams and one girls teams as a number of players put their hands up for potential Talent League selection in years to come.
Both of Gippsland's boys sides came away with one win and one loss, having both been defeated by Dandenong and beaten Bendigo.
The girls side were not so fortunate, going down in both of their matches against the same opposition.
Representatives from local clubs included Jett Proctor, Violet Dodd, Isabelle Maloney and Gemma Garlick (Drouin), Georgia McDonald and Chevie Davis (Bunyip), Cohen Dent, Steward Oling, Elizabeth Sowden, and Brooke Olsen (Warragul Industrials) and Henry Allsop, Bill De Araugo, Fraser Aubrey, and Cooper Leighton (Warragul).
