Record numbers were a highlight of Sunday's Hallora Marathon Festival as locals hit the track running for a good cause.
With more than 600 participants on the day, well over $20,000 has already been raised by the event for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
And with more to come over the next few weeks the organisers' goal of $23,000 looks entirely achievable.
