It's a split round in the Gippsland League this weekend, with just two matches on offer for willing spectators.
Warragul vs Wonthaggi
The hits keep coming for Warragul as the bruised Gulls take on what might just be the premiership favourites at home.
The boys in black and red have looked more black and blue at times this year, such has been the toll of their injury crisis.
They haven't helped themselves at times, however. Coming into their match against Maffra last week there was plenty of reason to hope that they might be able to pull off a stirring late-season win.
Instead, the visitors didn't fire a shot early, letting the young Eagles out of the blocks and essentially dooming themselves to another sizeable defeat before quarter time.
And it doesn't get any easier here. In fact, it doesn't get any harder given the quality of opposition they're facing.
Wonthaggi are on a tear, having won their last 12 straight, including against fellow contenders Leongatha, Moe and Traralgon.
The Power, who were eliminated in last year's preliminary final, clearly have their eyes on the prize this season.
In case you needed a reminder of their capabilities - they kept Bairnsdale goalless last week. That's right, they did not let a single goal through for four quarters.
As has been the case for most of the year there are a number of changes for Warragul. Lucas Carter, Patrick Ireland, Luke Garner, Kyle Baker and Michael Lynn all come in as Todd Gowans, Lachie Gronow, Patrick Carpenter, Jordan Murphy and Josh Dawson all go out.
The home side will take some confidence out of the last time the Power came to Warragul. That match was a highly entertaining contest, eventually ending with the scores tied.
Since then the teams' fortunes have gone in very different directions though.
It's going to be a big task for the Gulls. Just about every pundit in the league would be expecting a comfortable win for the visitors - can Warragul flip the script?
Other games
The only other match on Saturday sees a season-defining clash between Morwell and Sale.
With fifth place still up for grabs Sale remains a win and percentage ahead of Morwell.
Should the Tigers win this it's game on in the run home to finals. A loss, however, will see the bridge become too big.
Can Morwell take their opportunity?
Mixed fortunes for Drouin bowlers
