Gold for Zaria

Warragul's Zaria Dalton is a national champion after taking home a gold medal at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Perth last week.
Zaria was a member of the Victorian women's under 16 4x100m relay team that came away winners from the event, finishing with a time of 47.07 seconds.
As the team's starting runner there was plenty of pressure to get the team off to a good start, especially given one false move could have disqualified them immediately.
In the end she was able to nail her timing as she handed off her baton before watching her teammates go on to win.
She also competed in the under 16 100m and 200m events, finishing 15th and 19th respectively.
Speaking after arriving home following the championships, Zaria said she was "pretty happy" with how she performed.
"I ran pretty well which was good, I got some PBs," she said. "I had a really good time."
She described watching her teammates finish the event as "kind of nerve-wracking."
"We were in front going into the last leg but WA were coming up pretty quick, I was happy to win."
Zaria was one of two Warragul Little Athletics members who travelled to Perth to represent Victoria, the other being Brooklynn Wyatt.
Brooklynn competed in the discus throw and hammer throw where she finished seventh (29.58m) and fourth (37.06m).
Additionally, two other locals were also in competition in Annabella and James Denton.
Annabelle placed 17th in the women's under 16 200m, fourth in the under 18 4x400m and made the final of the women's under 16 400m, where she finished ninth overall.
James, meanwhile, finished in 10th place for the men's under 17 400m.
There won't be much time for Zaria to rest on her laurels as she'll be heading to Adelaide later this month for the Australian Little Athletics Championships.
She and fellow athlete Sapphire Pratt will be representing Warragul Little Athletics at the event.
