Not every path to next week's AFL draft has been the same. Just ask Warragul's Alixzander Tauru.
Twelve months ago Alixzander - or Alix, as he prefers - wasn't a name on just about anyone's radar.
Draft boards didn't mention him, experts didn't have him in their calculations and clubs weren't beating down his door.
Cut to now and Alix is talk of the town, the leaping interceptor considered a top 10 bolter as the big night draws near.
It's been a long journey to now for the Warragul Industrials product, who has had to withstand numerous injury setbacks to make it this far.
But with draft night right around the corner there looks to be plenty
