Concerned local harness racing participants will meet in Cranbourne on Thursday night to discuss current challenges faced by the race code.
Representatives from the states harness kindred bodies, Victorian Harness Racing Club (representing horse owners), Trots Clubs Victoria (country race clubs), Trainers and Drivers Association, Square Trotters Association and Harness Breeders Victoria, will stage public forums at larger race venues over coming weeks.
