Mid Gippsland Football Netball League has released its 2023 fixture. Hill End, including Mugzy Mooka who required two Boolarra players to take him down in this play, will head to Morwell East in round one on April 22.
Old foes will face off in the opening round of Mid Gippsland Football Netball League in 2023.
The fixture was released last week, with Hill End travelling to Morwell East and Thorpdale to Boolarra for the opening game on Saturday, April 22.
The first round will also feature grand final re-matches between this year's senior football premiers Yinnar and runners-up Newborough as well as the A grade netball premiers Toora and runners-up Mirboo North.
The 18-round season will see play, without a break, until August 19, with each club having two byes. Three clubs are scheduled for byes in each of round 14 to 17 to ensure fresh legs come finals.
Four weekends of finals will follow, culminating with the grand final on Saturday, September 16.
