Longwarry pulled off a remarkable comeback victory over a gallant Poowong to all but secure an Ellinbank District football finals appearance.
An opening tap down from Charlie Koscal saw Jack Hazendonk break away from the middle to set up Zac Gray in the opening 15 seconds as the Magpies made a fast start.
Ultimately the conditions would get to Poowong's younger players as the Crows came over the top to win 10-9 (69) to 8-10 (58) in an entertaining contest.
Poowong held a six-point advantage following an opening quarter shootout that realised seven goals between the two sides.
