ELLINBANK have responded from their disappointing loss to Lang Lang, comfortably accounting for its next mid-table challenger in Yarragon to move a game clear into second position.
The Panthers had their moments and were particularly competitive in the first term, but Ellinbank showed why it is ultimately a top three team on the way to winning 15-6 (96) to 5-4 (34).
With both sides emerging some 20 minutes before the scheduled match start to adjust to the conditions, the pace and intensity was on from the start.
