Ellinbank scored a big victory to cap a near perfect season with the under 16 premiership, overcoming a Poowong side whose strong finals form fell away when needed most.
The Magpies, who advanced to the decider from fourth, failed to kick a major as the Eagles scored a 9-9 (63) to 0-2 (2) runaway victory.
Cruze Deal gave Poowong its best look early in the third term but he missed a shot he would normally convert in a difficult day for the Magpies.
Gavin Monson, Ryder Dowlan, William Dourley, George Edwards, Bryce Broadmore and Zachary Sherar also battled against the odds.
Ellinbank started with a long goal and controlled the contest with the Magpies struggling to penetrate centre-half-forward early.
