Drouin denied in wet weather slog

Sometimes it's the little moments that can make your day in footy. Sometimes, they can break it too.

Drouin has been denied their third straight victory on the weekend by just one point after they were unable to get the best of Bairnsdale in a good old fashioned wet weather arm wrestle.
Both the Hawks and Redlegs had their chances to take home the four points throughout the day, neither side ever able to create a comfortable buffer on the scoreboard with goals coming at a premium.
Eventually though it was the visitors finding the scores they needed, kicking the last goal and behind of the day to prevail 8.8 (56) to 8.7 (55) and break Hawk hearts everywhere.
