Dream come true for Lily-Rose

Warragul locals watching Essendon's Dreamtime clash against Richmond in the AFLW the weekend before last may have noticed a familiar player running around.
Lily-Rose Williamson, a former Warragul Industrials women's team member, made her AFLW debut for the Bombers to cap off what has been an absolute whirlwind couple of months.
The recently turned 18-year-old Traralgon local was a late call-up to the Bombers' list, having been brought in as an injury replacement player last month, rather than through the
national draft. And, just over a month later, she received news that she would be playing her first game at the highest level, an experience she called "surreal", despite the Bombers going down by two points.
"It was insane, even though we didn't win. I hadn't even really played a full game with the girls other than some scrimmages, so to get my debut was amazing."
