The Hill End and Grove Rovers Junior Football Club is considering options after its attempted move to the Warragul and District Junior Football League (WDJFL) was rejected by both their current league and AFL Gippsland.
Currently a member of the Central Gippsland Junior Football League (CGJFL), Hill End sought a change due to concerns over excessive travel times and the impact on the club's sustainability.
The merger between the Mid Gippsland and Alberton senior leagues in 2020 meant their respective junior competitions followed suit, leading to Hill End having to travel to play at grounds at places such as Foster, Tarwin and Meeniyan.
