It will be mate versus mate as the Longwarry Cricket and Football Clubs take each other on once again this Sunday for the cricket club's annual Pink Stumps Day.
The two groups will be doing battle in a T20 cricket match to raise money for the McGrath Foundation in what will be the second edition of the event.
Featuring a barbeque and bar as well as face painting and a jumping castle for the kids, the Crows are hoping to raise at least $5000 for the breast cancer charity this year after managing more than $4000 last year.
There'll be plenty of pride on the line too after the football club managed to get the win last year - admittedly featuring a number of players who call both the football and cricket clubs their own.
Longwarry Cricket Club president Matthew Aslett said "this year will absolutely be bigger than last year."
"The football club have been organising things this time and have been doing an awesome job of it. The cricket club got their pants pulled down a bit last year so there'll be plenty of boys wanting to get them back for that," he said.
Plenty of raffle prizes will be on offer as donated by local businesses, while there will be a silent auction for 2025 fully signed Hawthorn and Fremantle Football Club guernseys thanks to former locals Jai Newcombe and Caleb Serong, respectively.
It all kicks off at Longwarry Recreation Reserve with the first ball being bowled at 11am and is expected to continue until 2pm, with all money raised going straight to the McGrath Foundation.
Mr Ablett said the event was really beginning to pick up steam and said he hopes to see it continue growing in years to come.
