Brilliant Blues take title
1 min read

The match between Catani and Buln Buln was a replay of last year's 13 and under grand final.
And, it certainly gave the crowd plenty to cheer about.
Despite a slow start for both teams, the defensive pressure across the court was great to watch.
The quarter went on centre passes and Buln held a one-goal lead at the first break.
Buln edged out by a couple of goals at the start of the second quarter. However, the Blues were not to be outdone and had closed it back to a one-goal margin in the favour of the Lyrebirds by the end of the first half.
In the third quarter, the Blues put their foot down through defensive pressure and ability to finish off the hard work.
They kept Buln to just two goals and broke the game open to lead by five goals at the last change.
Buln tried everything, making changes across the court. Meanwhile, Catani held their nerve.
Despite missing a few shots late in the game, the second half effort in both defence and attack was just too strong. It was a four-goal win for the Blues.
Best on court: Catani centre Miley Warde.
